Flight Ticket Refunds
Flight ticket refunds are subject to:
- Airline fare rules
- Ticket type (Refundable / Non-refundable)
- Time of cancellation
Refunds will be processed only after approval from the airline. The following are non-refundable:
- Convenience fees
- Service charges
- Payment gateway charges
- Promo code discounts or special offer benefits
No refund will be provided in case of no-show or non-refundable fares. If a promotional discount was applied at booking, the refund is calculated on the net payable amount after discount.
Hotel Refunds
Hotel refunds depend on:
- Hotel cancellation policy
- Booking type
- Cancellation timeline
Refunds are not applicable for non-refundable bookings or no-show cases. Service charges and promotional discounts are non-refundable. Where a promo code was used, the refund is processed on the amount paid after applying the offer.
Holiday / Tour Package Refunds
Refunds for holiday / tour packages are processed as per cancellation timeline and supplier policies. In case of cancellation, any promotional discount or special offer availed will not be refunded — the refund is calculated on the final amount paid.
Special or discounted packages may be non-refundable or partially refundable, depending on terms at the time of booking.
Visa Refunds
Visa fees are non-refundable once the application is submitted to the embassy / consulate. Refunds are not applicable for:
- Visa rejection
- Change of travel plans
- Processing delays
Promo codes or discounts applied towards visa assistance services are non-refundable.
Promotional Offers and Coupons
All promo codes, cashback, discount vouchers, and limited-time offers are non-refundable and non-transferable. In case of cancellation, the value of any promotional benefit will be deducted from the refund amount and the promotional value cannot be reused.
Force Majeure
Refunds due to:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Airline disruptions
- Political situations
will be governed by third-party supplier policies.
Refund Mode
Refunds, wherever applicable, will be processed to the original payment method only.

ScanMyFlight acts as a booking facilitator between customers and service providers such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, and visa authorities. Refunds are subject to the respective service provider's policies.
